Adjunct Instructor, Theatre

Michael teaches Intro to Theatre. He has also taught at North Carolina A&T State University and High Point University. He was education director for the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival and the director of their Shakespeare To Go touring program. He also created the drama program at The Governor’s School for Government and International Studies in Richmond, VA.
He has worked as a professional actor for the past 25 years and is a member of Actor’s Equity Association (the union of professional actors and stage managers).  Recent acting credits include: A Christmas CarolThe Last Night of BallyhooThe Exact Center of the Universe, The ForeignerDead Man’s Cell Phone and Hamlet.  He has written and performed four plays including Jack, which he has performed in the Southeast U.S., and in the UK.
He is a founding member of Tom Foolery Productions and Blue Moon Theatre Company.  He’s appeared in several TV films including The Broken ChainThe Patron Saint of Liars and Wesley.
