Posted on: January 15, 2015

Here is the eagerly awaited information about auditions for Love’s Labour’s Lost!

Auditions will be held Monday January 19th from 3:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm. You can come at either of those times and do not have to stay for the entire time.  Callbacks will be the next day, Tuesday January 20th, at 5:00 pm.

Sides will be provided, and the script is online in Sakai (TADStudent -> Resources -> 2014-15 Subscription Season – Current Calendar and Scripts).

In case you’re unfamiliar with Love’s Labour’s Lost, here is the show description:

Four best friends decide to withdraw from society and for 3 years, to study and learn the secrets of the universe with their fraternal brethren. These Young Men create a retreat where they can study together without the petty distractions of the world at large. Scarcely have they begun when their vows are challenged by the arrival of 4 visitors…each a child of our grandmother Eve, a female; or, for thy more sweet understanding, a woman.

Watch and laugh as Shakespeare spins us this version of a tale as old as time.
