Far Away opens in the Ring Theatre on October 27

The Wake Forest University Theatre will continue its season with Far Away by Caryl Churchill, which will be directed by the Professor of Theatre Dr. Cindy Gendrich.
Indoctrination, deceit, love, art, violence, and paranoia. Far Away catapults us through an unsettling dystopian vision created by one of our greatest living playwrights.
Scenic and Lighting Designer is Rob Eastman-Mullins, Associate Professor of Theatre. Costumes are designed by Mary Wayne-Thomas, Professor of Theatre. Assistant Professor of Theatre Kevin Frazier and senior Cheyenne Zuck are Sound Designers. Current student Anna Hibbert is stage managing. The cast consists of Anne-Peyton Brothers, Erin Farmer, Christian Carty, Tiffany Nunez, Ria Matheson, John Cooper, Chris Yon, Bea Yon, Amanda Cummins, Cameron Smith, and Julianne Zhu. Habby Olusesi is the Assistant Director, and Dramaturg is Anne-Peyton Brothers.
Performances are October 27-28 and November 2-4 at 7:30 PM and October 29 and November 5 at 2:00 PM in the Ring Theatre of the Scales Fine Arts Center. Tickets are $15 adults, $12 senior citizens, and $7 students (price includes sales tax). The Box Office is open Tuesday-Friday from 1-5 PM and one hour prior to curtain on performance days. Limited general admission seating is available in the Ring Theatre, so reservations are strongly encouraged.
