Based on the non-fiction book by journalist Helen Thorpe, “Just Like Us” is the true account of four young Mexican women coming of age in Denver — two ofwhom have legal documentations, two of whom don’t — and the challenges they face as they attempt to pursue the American dream.
Join students, faculty, and staff from across campus for an abridged lunchtime reading of this play.
In addition to Wake Forest University, over 140 institutions across the United States are holding readings of “Just Like Us” including Princeton University, Trinity Repertory Theatre, and many others.
