Jyles Rodgers (’19) selected to intern at Prague Quadrennial

Senior Theatre major Jyles Rodgers was selected from a pool of almost 360 applicants from around the world to serve as one of 16 interns at the Prague Quadrennial this June. Jyles in currently designing the set for our production of Tartuffe, which will open on February 15. Previously, she designed the lights for our production of Light Up the Sky in September and designed the set for The Adding Machine, which earned her second place in Scenic Design in the SETC student designers competition in March 2018.
Showcasing performance design, scenography, and theatre architecture as an art form, the Prague Quadrennial began as an every 4-year festival in 1967. In between the main festivals, PQ organizes international programs and activities such as performances, workshops, symposia, exhibitions, and educational initiatives with the aim of of exploring contemporary performance design practices and theories.
