Associate Professor, Design

Kevin Frazier (BA Furman University, MFA Virginia Tech) began teaching at WFU in 2016.  He is a freelance lighting, sound and projections designer working across the east coast.  He has over 100 professional shows to his name.  Credits include Merrimack Rep and Stoneham Theatre (MA), Case Western Reserve University (OH), Lafayette College (PA), 7 Stages, Synchronicity, Fabrefaction Theatre Company, Pinch N’ Ouch, Serenbe Playhouse and Actors Express (GA), The Warehouse Theatre, Centre Stage, The Distracted Globe, FIRE and Glow Lyric Theatre (SC) and the DC and New York Fringe Festivals.  He has been nominated for 5 Suzi Bass Awards and 3 New Hampshire Theatre Awards, and has spent the last 6 years in residence at the Peterborough Players.

His research interests include new work and exploring under-represented perspectives on classic stories.  His outside interests include tabletop games and graphic storytelling, whether it’s a comic book or a video game.
